AriaSaNa – Regional Observatory of Air Quality of Campania (Southern Italy)

Summary

Ariasana project, sponsored by Regione Campania and coordinated by the Institute for Mediterranean Agriculture and Forest Systems (ISAFOM) of the National Research Council, provides information on air quality to decision makers and supports the implementation of environmental policies to protect air quality and ensure food production. Air quality forecast an near-real-time representation of pollution are provided.
Air Quality Observation Tower was set up to measure, in the urban context of the city of Naples, greenhouse gases, pollutants and fine particulate matter emitted in the atmosphere to provide an air quality monitoring system at high-frequency.
